You are hereby notified that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Maitland, Florida, which also sits as the Local Planning Agency and the Land Development Regulation Commission will hold a public hearing. The hearing will be held at 6:30 P.M., Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the Maitland City Hall Council Chambers, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida 32751.

The purpose of the hearing is to take public comment, both written and oral, concerning a petition filed for ZONING AMENDMENT PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD) - OPTION 2. The application has been filed by Maitland Capital LLC-Lamont Garber, Manager, 1211 Orange Avenue, Suite 102, Winter Park, Florida 32789.

The applicant requests to amend the Planned Development located at 360 E. Horatio Avenue, Maitland, Florida to redevelop the existing bank property to become a mixed-use facility. The bank building (consisting of 5,075 more or less) will be renovated to remove the drive-through and add approximately 2,473 square feet of retail and restaurant square footage. Maitland Market will include a mix of retail and restaurant concepts, comprising approximately 7,548 square feet.


Lots 1 to 9 inclusive, and Lots 13, 14, 33 and 34 and the North 19.04 feet of Lots 15 and 32, NOLAND'S ADDITION TO MAITLAND (Less that part taken in Civil Action Number 70-5960 in the Circuit Court of Orange County. Florida), according to the map or plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book "K", Page 59, of the Public Records of Orange County, Florida.

A complete copy of the submittal documents for the proposed Zoning Amendment Planned Development (Option 2) may be inspected by any interested person Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., in the office of the Community Development Department, 1776 Independence Lane, Maitland, Florida, 32751. The public is invited to attend the public hearing and may submit written comments at or before the public hearing or attend the public hearing to be heard by the Local Planning Agency of the City of Maitland, Florida.
