POLICE PATROL OFFICER (NON-EXEMPT)
PAY GRADE/STARTING SALARY:  GRADE 19 – $20.53/hour/$45,905 annually – D.O.Q.
                                                            (Based on Shift Work of 2236 hours annually)
HOURS: Hours Vary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
U.S. Citizen; Minimum age: 21 to apply. High School Diploma/GED which meets state standards; college coursework preferred.

Good physical condition. Vision requirements: correctable to 20/20. Good moral character. No felony convictions. No misdemeanor convictions involving moral character, perjury of false statements as outlined in Florida Statutes. No pending criminal charges.

Successfully pass polygraph, psychological exam, medical exam, background investigation. No dishonorable discharge from any branch of military.

 Employees in this position are required to pass the National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700 within 30 days of employment and the ICS-100 within 60 days of employment.  

Possess and maintain a valid Florida Drivers’ License. Possess certifications as required by the Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission and any other certificates mandated by State, County, or local Statutes.

PAY GRADE/STARTING SALARY: Grade 12 - $14.66/hour/$30,502 annually or D.O.Q.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:           Associates degree, or equivalent experience, in business administration, accounting, public administration, or related field.  One to three years of experience in cost or general accounting, bookkeeping, or utility billing.  Additional experience can be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (EXEMPT)

DEPARTMENT: PUBLIC WORKS
POSITION TITLE: FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (EXEMPT)
PAY GRADE/STARTING SALARY: GRADE 20 - $44,844 annually or D.O.Q.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent. Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in building construction and general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience
Possess the National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700 within 30 days of employment and the ICS-100 and ICS-200 within 90 days of employment. There may be additional NIMS required, which will be schedule by your Supervisor.

Possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent, with one or more years of experience in water production or distribution or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Possess a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) certification, Class B, or obtain the CDL certification within six (6) months of employment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a valid Florida Level 3 Distribution System Operator License or obtain the License within two (2) years of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or equivalent. Six months or more experience in landscape construction or maintenance or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent.  One to three years of experience performing work in the building trades, to include street maintenance, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

HOURS:                            MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8:00am–10:00am and 2:00pm–4:00pm (split times, shifts may vary)
               
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:     
High School diploma or equivalent.

Must successfully pass a physical agility test and complete the required training for School Crossing Guards before starting job.  Must obtain the Florida School Crossing Guard Certification, and re-certify annually.

Pass Police Department background screening. Possess certification in First-Aid or obtain this certification within three months of employment.
